Privacy
Oysterun Privacy Policy.
Oysterun is designed around local control. Agent conversations, files, and Host runtime normally remain on your own computer.

What Oysterun includes
Oysterun includes a local Host service, Clients such as the phone app and browser, third-party agent providers and tools you choose, and limited Oysterun Cloud services. The path used by a feature determines which party processes its data.
Data on your local Host
Your local Host normally stores Session and conversation history, Agent Folder and allowed-path configuration, workspace settings, local website files, and runtime metadata needed to resume or manage Sessions. Oysterun Cloud does not host normal local conversations or workspace files as part of this core Host flow.
Limited Oysterun Cloud data
Oysterun Cloud processes bounded technical data when needed for app identity, Host and app pairing, notification registration and delivery, operational security, and troubleshooting. Notification data is limited to what is needed to route and deliver an Oysterun alert; these support paths are separate from normal direct Client-to-Host product traffic.
Home analytics only
Only the localized Home pages use privacy-limited PostHog events for page visibility, scroll depth, viewed sections, and selected navigation, install, GitHub, and outbound links. Autocapture, session replay, and person profiles are disabled. A browser's Do Not Track setting or ?analytics=off suppresses this analytics path.
Oysterun does not make this public-site analytics claim for Overview, Getting Started, Docs, Blog, FAQ, Privacy, error pages, Markdown, llms.txt, sitemap, robots, or other discovery artifacts. Home analytics does not send Host conversations, prompts, files, local workspace content, or form-entered values.
Third-party providers and tools
Agent providers and other tools you choose may process prompts, files, messages, or tool data that you send through them. Their own privacy policies and terms apply; Oysterun's local-control design does not replace those third-party terms.
Sharing and sale
Oysterun does not sell your data. Oysterun does not share local Host files, conversations, prompts, or workspace content as part of the normal product flow. Limited Cloud and Home analytics data is used for the product purposes described in this policy.
Retention and security
Local data remains under your Host and operating-system controls. Oysterun Cloud retains operational records only as long as needed for pairing, notification delivery, security, troubleshooting, or applicable obligations. Oysterun uses authentication, scoped tokens, and platform notification mechanisms, but no security system is perfect; keep your computer, phone, Node.js, providers, and Oysterun installation current.
Your choices
You choose which Host to use, which local folders Agents may access, which third-party providers and tools receive data, and whether notifications are enabled. You can remove local Host data using your own machine's controls and stop using optional Cloud pairing or notification features. On Home, use Do Not Track or ?analytics=off to suppress the described analytics path.
